Mr. Whittaker is a successful legal professional with multiple years in client advocacy. He is the founder of Pure Source Consulting, LLC, which consults for Renewables Worldwide, and specializes in running Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to help federally funded public housing agencies procure HUD compliant net-metering (community solar) and electric supply agreements. In addition, Mr. Whittaker has provided free consulting to the Energy Branch of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), as well as numerous HUD field offices. Due to his understanding of HUD procurement requirements and funding calculations, he also teaches public housing authorities on how to utilize the savings they obtain, through community solar/electric supply, to increase their federal subsidies. Prior to working in the renewable energy sector, he worked for a firm which specializes in assisting those filing for Social Security Disability benefits, and within his first year was recognized as a top advisor. Mr. Whittaker oversees the strategic implementation of new projects and partnership opportunities, often researching the underlying legislation in each state that has passed net-metering legislation. Mr. Whittaker completed an internship with the NH Department of Justice, spending significant time in the Environmental Law division. He then graduated Cum Laude from Southern New Hampshire University, specializing in Criminal Justice and Forensic Psychology. He has subsequently obtained his Juris Doctor from the Massachusetts School of Law. In his off hours he can often be found snowboarding, riding his Harley-Davidson, or spending quality time with his dogs, Fenrir and Daisey.
